Building Our Power: Louisiana's Results of the Black Census Project

  • Ashé Cultural Arts Center 1712 Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard New Orleans, LA, 70113 United States (map)

The problems facing our communities are complex and we know that the solutions require experimentation, innovation, and political power. On Tuesday, October 1st, please join the Black Futures Lab, Ubuntu Village NOLA, and Families and Friends of Louisiana's Incarcerated Children for an evening of dialogue and strategy building.

We will be looking at the Louisiana results of the Black Census Project - the largest survey of Black people in the United States in 150 years. We're tackling some of the most pressing issues affecting our community and developing plans to drive sustainable change and activate our full power at a local level.
